All teams in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12 look strong and well-balanced. The new season will begin on Friday, August 29. PKL 12: Four Cities Likely to Host Upcoming Season Revealed
The last PKL season was played in three parts, held in Hyderabad, Noida, and Pune. Earlier, Khel Now reported that the league might be shortened to six weeks because fewer people were watching.
All teams are now preparing for the new season and have started training camps.
PKL 12 is expected to start in Vizag. This will be the first time Vizag hosts the league since 2018. Telugu Titans CEO Trinadh Reddy told The Hindu, โBoth Vizag and Hyderabad are our home grounds. Since 2018, there hasnโt been any PKL in Vizag, so we want to bring it back this year.โ
He added, โThe TV ratings from the Telugu states are very high. Thatโs why we decided to move from Hyderabad to Vizag this year. The matches will be played at the Port Indoor Stadium.โ
Fans, experts, and players are excited as PKL will return in 40 days. At the player auction in Mumbai on May 31 and June 1, ten players were sold for over Rs. 1 Crore each, a record number. Since the teams look almost equally strong, this season promises to be very exciting.
