Ronaldo reached his 52nd and 53rd goals after converting two penalties in Al Nassr’s 5-2 victory over Al Ittihad at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium.
With these two goals, Ronaldo surpassed Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, both of whom scored 52 goals in 2023.
Erling Haaland of Manchester City is the only other player to score 50 goals in 2023.
