Kohli reached his century while India was chasing Australia’s huge first-innings total of 604 runs. He hit 11 fours and a six in his innings. Kohli also built a 115-run partnership with Wriddhiman Saha, helping India reach 272 runs. Despite his efforts, India lost the match by 298 runs.
4. 123 – Perth, 2018
Kohli called this one of his favorite centuries. It happened on a tricky pitch in Perth during the second Test of the 2018 tour.
The pitch was perfect for fast bowlers, but Kohli stayed strong and scored an incredible 123 runs, hitting 13 fours and one six.
Even though Kohli played brilliantly in the first innings, India couldn’t win the match. They lost by 146 runs while chasing 287.
3. 141 – Adelaide, 2014
