Public life in the two countries has started to return to normal. Which has also affected the cricket field.

The new start date for the IPL, which was postponed for the 9th time in India, has been announced. Pakistan, however, is a little behind in that list so far. However, the officials concerned of the country’s cricket board are not in favor of delaying it too much. The officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board are working to bring the PSL back to the field very soon.

Meetings are underway with policymakers at various levels of the PSL. Pakistani media are saying that the PSL can start between May 16 and 18. Although there are many questions about whether foreign cricketers will be available in this round. Because, after the foreign cricketers were evacuated to Dubai, many have returned to their respective countries. It is also quite difficult to bring them back in a short period of time.

Meanwhile, the PCB has started to formulate plans among themselves. According to the initial plan, the six PSL teams will be instructed to gather with their full squads in the country’s capital on May 14. At the same time, efforts are being made to bring back foreign cricketers.

Although there have been talks of moving the PSL outside the country, the host country is determined to finish the tournament on Pakistani soil. The PCB is not willing to find a new venue for the remaining 10 matches.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board is making every effort to organize a 5-match T20 series against Bangladesh in a timely manner along with the PSL. The country is in regular communication with the Bangladesh Cricket Board. It is expected that the series will also be held from May 25.
