Teams found out who they will play against through an online draw.

The FIBA Regional Office-Asia confirmed the groups for the FIBA West Asia Super League (WASL) Final 8 2025 after an online draw held on Tuesday, April 22.

Representatives from all the participating clubs joined a video conference as the event, set for May 10-18 at Stade Nouhad Noufal in Zouk Mikael, continues to come together.

The Draw Is Complete: Here Are the Matchups

Al Riyadi, the current FIBA WASL champions, are aiming to win the title again after recently achieving a rare “three-peat” in the FIBA WASL-West Asia League.

They are also the defending champions of the Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia). In the Final 8, Al Riyadi will represent the Sub-Zone League alongside Tabiat Basketball and Sagesse SC.

Meanwhile, the FIBA WASL-Gulf League will feature new champions Shabab Al Ahli, along with Ittihad Club and Al Qadsia SC, both of which made their first appearances in the tournament this season.

The six teams will be joined by two more — BC Astana from CABA and Tamil Nadu from SABA.

In the group stage, each team will play against all the others once. The top two teams from each group will move on to the Semi-Finals, while the teams finishing third and fourth will be knocked out.

The winners of the Semi-Finals will play in the Final for the championship. The losing teams will face each other in the Third-Place Game. Each matchday will have two games.

The two teams that reach the Final will also qualify for the BCL Asia 2025, the top club tournament in Asia
