Nissanka became the first Sri Lankan cricketer to hit a double century in ODIs. 5. Chris Gayle – 138 balls vs Zimbabwe (2015)
Chris Gayle was the first batter from outside India to score a double century in ODIs and the first to do so in a World Cup (2015). He made 215 runs from 147 balls, reaching 200 in just 138 deliveries. With this achievement, Gayle became the first cricketer to score a century in T20Is, a double century in ODIs, and a triple century in Test matches.
