Discover Full List Of Major Trophies Won By Virat Kohli throughout his legendary cricket career.
He’s widely seen as one of the best batters in history and is the first player to win all four ICC titles: the U19 World Cup, ODI World Cup, Champions Trophy, and T20 World Cup.
Kohli achieved this remarkable feat by leading India to a T20 World Cup 2024 victory over South Africa, winning by seven runs in a thrilling final at Kensington Oval in Barbados. Kohli was named Player of the Match for his match-winning knock of 76 off 59 balls, helping India set a total of 176/7. India’s bowlers then held South Africa to 169/8, securing the victory.
With this win, Kohli completed a milestone that even MS Dhoni didn’t reach. Nicknamed ‘Captain Cool,’ Dhoni was the first captain to win three major ICC trophies—the ICC World T20 2007, the 2011 ODI World Cup, and the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.
Yuvraj Singh also came close to this achievement. He won the U19 World Cup in 2000, the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy, the T20 World Cup in 2007, and the ODI World Cup in 2011.
Kohli first gained fame by leading India to victory in the U-19 Cricket World Cup in 2008, where he scored 235 runs in six games. Later, he was part of Dhoni’s 2011 ODI World Cup-winning team, scoring 282 runs in nine matches. In the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, he was a standout player, scoring 176 runs in five games.
In Test cricket, Kohli led India to win the ICC Test mace three times in 2017, 2018, and 2019 as captain. The only ICC title missing from Kohli’s collection is the World Test Championship (WTC). Although India reached the WTC finals twice, they lost to New Zealand and Australia.
Kohli now aims to win the WTC in 2025 to complete his trophy collection. Get the full list of Kohli’s ICC titles and major red-ball series wins against teams like England and Australia.
