Made an emotional post on social media
Dwayne Bravo shared a post on Instagram, informing about his retirement. He wrote that it has been an incredible journey of twenty-one years as a professional cricketer, filled with many ups and downs. Most importantly, I was able to live my dream because I gave my 100 percent every step of the way. As much as I would love to continue this relationship, it is time to face reality. My mind wants to keep going, but my body can no longer tolerate the pain, breakdowns and stress. I cannot put myself in a position where I might disappoint my teammates, my fans or the teams I represent. So, with a heavy heart, I officially announce my retirement from the game. Today, the champion bids farewell.
