Former South African cricketer AB de Villiers was recently seen playing cricket with a wheel-chair cricket team in Mumbai. Actually, an event was organized to promote social and civic participation under Project Mumbai, in which AB de Villiers also participated and he played cricket with the wheel-chair team. During this, AB de Villiers interacted with the players and appreciated their efforts and enthusiasm.
The video of the event went viral on social media, in which de Villiers was seen batting from a wheelchair and was seen joking around with the players. Some cricket fans praised de Villiers’ gesture and said that apart from being a great cricketer, he is also a wonderful human being.

De Villiers has been a big star of IPL
Let us tell you that de Villiers is considered one of the best batsmen of South Africa. He is famous for his 360 degree batting style. He has played 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20 matches for South Africa, in which he scored 8765 runs, 9577 runs and 1672 runs respectively.
Apart from this, he has been a big star of IPL. He participated in the Indian Premier League from 2008 to 2021. In the IPL, he has 5162 runs in 184 matches, including 3 centuries and 40 half-centuries. During this, his average was 39.71 and strike rate was 151.68.
De Villiers retired from international cricket in May 2018, while in 2021 announced his retirement from IPL and all formats. After saying goodbye to cricket, he is now seen active on social media.
