The Asian Cup qualifiers match against Singapore will be held in Dhaka on June 10. The Bangladesh football team is camping for that match. Today, on Eid, the footballers are in camp to fulfill their duties for the country. All Muslims offered Eid prayers at 7 am today.

The Bangladesh team is staying at Hotel Intercontinental in Shahbagh, the capital Dhaka. Hamza and Jamal participated in the Eid congregation at 7 am at a mosque near the hotel. BFF presented white Punjabis to all the team members. Everyone offered prayers after wearing BFF Punjabis.

Three BFF executive members Imtiaz Hamid Sabuj, Sakhwat Hossain Bhuiyan Shaheen and Iqbal Hossain offered prayers with the team. After the prayers, the Bangladesh team footballers hugged the worshippers. Back at the hotel, the footballers exchanged Eid greetings with each other. In the morning, along with the Bangladesh team’s regular breakfast, semai was on the menu for Eid.

Footballers have been given a day off from 10 am to 2 pm. Those who live in Dhaka can spend time with their families during this time. Others can stay out of camp for personal reasons during this time. There is also practice in the afternoon on Eid. Javier Cabrera’s disciples will sweat it out at the National Stadium from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Like the national men’s team, the women’s football team is also on an Asian Cup mission. The Asian Cup qualifiers will be held in Myanmar in the third week of June. Afidara played two matches in Jordan to prepare for this tournament. The Bangladesh women’s team returned from Jordan in three stages last night. Practice will resume from the day after tomorrow. While many have gone home for two days, many are in the camp considering the travel and return risks. The BFF has also given Eid gifts to the women footballers in the camp.
