San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle, who won the 2024-25 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year award, was chosen for the All-Rookie First Team by all 100 voters from the global media panel.

Joining him on the First Team are Zach Edey and Jaylen Wells from the Memphis Grizzlies, Zaccharie Risacher of the Atlanta Hawks, and Alex Sarr of the Washington Wizards.

Edey and Wells make the Grizzlies the first team since 2019-20 to have two players on the All-Rookie First Team in the same year. Risacher and Sarr, both from France and top two picks in the 2024 NBA Draft, are the first players from the same non-U.S. country to make the All-Rookie First Team together.

The Kia NBA All-Rookie Second Team includes Matas Buzelis from the Chicago Bulls, Bub Carrington from the Wizards, Donovan Clingan from the Trail Blazers, Yves Missi from the Pelicans, and Kel’el Ware from the Miami Heat.

With Sarr on the First Team and Carrington on the Second Team, the Wizards have two players on the NBA All-Rookie Team in the same season for the first time since 1963–64, when Gus Johnson and Rod Thorn achieved the same.

A group of media members voted to choose five players for the Kia NBA All-Rookie First Team and another five for the Second Team, without considering positions. Players earned two points for a First Team vote and one point for a Second Team vote.
