Kuldeep Yadav slapped Rinku Singh after Kolkata Knight Riders’ victory.
The 48th match of IPL 2025 was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. KKR’s team batted first and put 204 runs on the board. In response, chasing the target, Akshar Patel’s team could score only 190 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Kolkata has kept its playoff hopes alive after winning by 14 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav slapped Rinku Singh twice
After the match ended at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the players of both the teams were seen laughing and talking on the field. Kolkata player Rinku Singh was laughing about something, when Kuldeep Yadav got angry over something and suddenly slapped Rinku, leaving the star batsman shocked.
After talking for a while, Kuldeep slapped Rinku again and this time again Rinku appeared very angry. Some fans on social media are calling the video of Kuldeep and Rinku a ‘bromance’, while other fans are demanding BCCI to ban the Indian spinner.

The incident between Kuldeep Yadav and Rinku Singh reminds us of the ‘slapgate’ scandal of the first season. When Mumbai Indians spinner Harbhajan Singh slapped Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) fast bowler S Sreesanth. Sreesanth was seen crying in the middle of the field, this incident shocked the entire cricket world. BCCI banned Harbhajan for 11 matches after that incident.
