Since he started his international career with an ODI match against Sri Lanka in August 2008, Kohli has scored 80 centuries.
Joe Root, the former England captain, holds the second spot with 50 international centuries.
Australia’s David Warner is next with 49 centuries.
Following them are India’s Rohit Sharma with 48 centuries and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson with 45, rounding out the top five active players with the most centuries. India’s legendary player Sachin Tendulkar holds the all-time record, scoring 100 centuries across all formats.

Former India captain Virat Kohli has the most international centuries among current players. Since 2008, the Indian star has scored 50 hundreds in ODI cricket. Kohli has also made 29 Test hundreds and one T20 international century. In total, he has 80 centuries in international cricket.
4. Joe Root – 50 Centuries
England’s star player Joe Root is second on the list of active players with the most international centuries. Since starting his international career in 2012, Root has scored 50 centuries. The talented right-handed batsman has hit 34 centuries in Test matches and 16 in ODIs. However, he has not yet scored a century in T20 internationals.

3. David Warner – 49 Centuries
Australian batter David Warner is third on the list for most international centuries among active players. The two-time ODI World Cup winner has scored 22 centuries in one-day matches and 26 in Test matches. He also has one century in T20I. From 2009 to 2023, Warner has made a total of 49 international centuries.
2. Rohit Sharma – 48 Centuries
Next is India’s cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma. From 2007 to 2024, he has scored 48 centuries in international cricket. Rohit, an aggressive opening batter, has the third-most hundreds in ODIs with 31 centuries, just behind Virat Kohli (50) and Sachin Tendulkar (49). He also has 12 centuries in Tests and five T20I hundreds, which is the most by any player in T20 cricket.
1. Kane Williamson – 45 Centuries
Former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is fifth on the list of active players with the most international centuries. Williamson has scored 32 centuries in Test cricket and 13 in ODIs. However, he hasn’t scored a century in T20 internationals yet. In total, Williamson has made 45 centuries in international cricket.
