5. Matthew Wade

In the last three IPL seasons, Wade played for Gujarat Titans. During his first season with them, he played 10 games but didn’t perform well. 4. Keshav Maharaj
The Rajasthan Royals added Keshav Maharaj to their team as a replacement for Prasidh Krishna, who got injured during the 2024 IPL. Keshav Maharaj took only two wickets in his two IPL matches, with an average of 19.50. In T20 cricket overall, he has taken 35 wickets in 35 games, with an average of 24.17.
Keshav Maharaj has always performed well in Test cricket, but he hasn’t been able to make a big impact in T20 cricket. It’s likely that no team will want to bid on him in the upcoming season.
3. Shai Hope
Shai Hope has been doing very well in T20 cricket for a while now. He has improved his game and played an important role in helping West Indies win. Once Hope is set, he can play aggressive shots consistently.
In IPL 2024, Delhi Capitals bought this talented batsman for Rs 75 lakh. However, he managed to score only 183 runs in 9 matches, with an average of 22.88.

Kane Williamson played only two games for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024, where he couldn’t perform well with the bat. Over his IPL career, he has played 79 matches and scored 2,128 runs, averaging over 35 with a strike rate above 125.
However, Kane has struggled to recover from his injury and has played very few international matches recently. His injury also kept him out of the recent Test series against India. With T20 cricket evolving quickly, there’s a chance Kane Williamson might not be picked in the upcoming season.

Ajinkya Rahane is one of the top batsmen in the world. In IPL 2023, the Chennai Super Kings bought him for ₹50 lakh. Rahane played very well in his first season, scoring 326 runs with a strike rate over 172. His great performance helped the Chennai Super Kings win the championship that year.
However, in the 2024 season, Ajinkya Rahane did not perform well and scored only 242 runs in 13 matches. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 starts on November 23, and the big IPL auction will be held on November 25. If Ajinkya Rahane wants teams to bid for him in the next IPL season, he needs to perform his best in the upcoming matches against Goa.
